2000 tj stock wheel

I'm in the market for some new tires. I have stock wheels on the tj. From the research I've done they are 15x7. I know most threads I see people run 15x8s. Would I be ok to run a 31x10.5 on a 15x7 wheel or is that bad news? Also I'm torn between the Duratecs, grabber at2 and the Walmart wrangler authority. I can get the grabber for $145 on tirerack. And the Duratecs are about $25 more. Authorities are $158. Has anyone by chance had experience with more then one and have some review of how they compared to each other, I know it's a long shot. Read good things about most of em. But none I have seen have been head to head comparison. Thanks guys!

I run 31s on my stock wheels on my 99. Rubs at full turn left or right. also heard duratracs are good but I don't have any experience

will i be ok with a 7" wheel or just i pick up some 8" wheels? not sure on the backspacing and such on my current wheelshttp://www.finishlinewheels.com/JEEP/WRANGLER/2000/S-09012U20/ just know they are 15x7 they are these . but i found a set of sahara wheels locally Factory Jeep Sahara TJ says they are 8" also found these not sure if they are 8 or 7 but cant beat the price http://cincinnati.craigslist.org/pts/2894626662.html and here

I too have a 200 tj i mounted 31's on them and like you they would rub when turning sharp. I bought a set of 1.5" spacer and mounted them on it with no rub what so ever. I since have bought a after market set of rims with -27mm backspace with no problems. I would say the stock rims are going to be a 0" mm back space i wouldnt think 8 " or 7" would matter stock wheels are stock wheel. Get you a set of spacer and use what you got.
