2008 Jeep Unlimited Sahara aftermarket/factory wheels

I just purchased a 2008 Jeep Unlimited Sahara and I was wondering what size wheels/tires i could go with, without putting in a lift kit and just keeping it all factory. I'm thinking of sticking with a 17" wheel? Thanks in advance!!!

You could do a 15, 16, or 17" wheel. As far as tire size goes, are you going to take it off road much? The smaller the rim you get, the less expensive the tires will be + give you more rubber which is better for off road.

You can do up to a 33" tire, but may rub at full turn or off road depending on your setup. 32" will fit with no issues.

Thanks! I actually changed my mind and bought a 2012 Sahara Unlimited. It comes with stock 18s, I think I'm going to go with 17" wheels and go with a 285/70/17 Duratrac tires and no lift, maybe just a 1.75" spacer in front. I hope it looks ok like that. Maybe i should just stick with 18s, same size wheels and tires it has now, just aftermarket wheel n tires....Decisions, decisions!!!

Be much cheaper to go with 17s.

True, I'm just wondering how they will look with no lift.

I would definitely go with 17s and something closer to a 33". One of the best looking wheels out there in my opinion is the XD Addicts. Those on Duratracs or Trail Grapplers just look dead sexy. It would be what I would run if I was sticking with 17" wheels.

And here is a thread at JK-F dedicated to 33s with no lift. Should give you plenty to think about.

I went with 285/70-17 Duratracs and XD addict 17s, pretty excited to get them next week! Now I'm just wondering how my black Sahara JKU will look with that setup and no lift?

Nice. Congrats. Your rig will look very nice with that setup. Look through that thread I linked to. I'm sure there are some shots of that setup with no lift.
