285/70/17 on stock JK

Hey, I have a stock 2009 wrangler unlimited x with 17" rims and want to get fierce attitude MT 285/70/17 without lifting or putting spacers. Is that going to cause a problem? I have read some rub and some people run them just fine. Any info will help! Thanks!

Ur gonna NEED spacers if using factory wheels. If purchasing new wheels, your gonna need 4.5 or less backspacing.

My 08 rubbed in the front with no lift and 285s with the wheel at full local. If you don't want spacers you could always back out the steering stops. It was rubbing on the sway bar. I lifted the JK and it no longer rubbed FWIW.
