285/75/16 duratrac with 4.48 bs rim, do i need a leveling kit?

I about to order the Duratrac 285/75/16 on ATX Ledge's

ATX Wheels Part W/P18868050600 - AX188 LEDGE - Teflon Black

They have BS of 4.5 which from what i've red is good. One question i have is that i will eventually get 35's and don't want to have to buy new rims.

Second, do i need leveling kit before i put these on there or can i get it later.

thanks

4.5 backspacing is good. Those tires are e rated. If you go with 17" rims you can get the 285/70/17 duratracs which are d rated for possibly a less harsh ride. In either case you won't need any lift for normal road driving but will probably rub offroad.

I believe so. I know it has been done, but what adjustments have to be made in the bump stops, etc. I'm not sure about.

They will work fine on the road. If you disconnect offroad, you will certainly get into your fenders. I run the same size tire and I was hard into the fender liner here.

As for the spare, it will fit fine, but I would recommend picking up some extended bumpstops for the tailgate.

Then the rear will rub at full flex. You won't need to buy bumpstop extensions, just put golf balls on the end of the stock spare bumpstops.
