They might rub a bit- a small lift might be needed

I have a 33's and a 4" suspension lift to clear them - not sure what the min. lift would be.

Stock tire is 30" so you need at least 3" of lift to clear comfortably.

I have a 2000 tj w/ 31s and had to put spacers on so they wouldn't rub.

if you don't mind cutting 33s will fit, at minimum you need a 1.25" BL and flat fenders. I ran my tj like that for a while than decided to cut more to gain a bit more clearance in front. the rear will clear a 33 if you pull out the inner plastic fenders.
33s-

35s- =D this was still while I was building it, haven't taken any new pictures yet.

flat fenders always gives you more room to go BIGGER tires.

both of these jeeps are on 35s, the one in back is mine. I'm running full size axles and 1.25" BL. The one in front sits on a saggy 4" Superlift suspension. he doesn't wheel it ever and he never rubs his 35s.
