35s or 37s???

So.... Im getting ready to make the BIG($$$) plunge on my new (to me) 08' 2 DR. Have a 4" BDS lift with Fox shocks waiting along with 5.13 gearing, trussed axles, superchip and New 17x9 Fuel Hostage wheels with Nitto Trail Grappler. Just cant decide which size tire to go with, 35 or 37. Afraid I will regret not going bigger!!

That's a rhetorical question. 37s of course since ur getting the gearing for it. Good luck with your build. Seems like ur prepared for it.

you should be fine with 37s... as has been said - you definitely want to get the C's reinforced. probably want to think about some heavy duty ball joints also.

what are you mounting the spare on? that's a HEAVY tire... something else to consider..

I was in the same dilemma. I run 5.13 gears with 35s. I have the automatic. A friend of mine has 37s with 5.13 gears, but has the 6 speed. Anyway, before I took the plunge and bought 37s we put his wheels and tires on my jeep. It ran o.k., but it definitely could have used lower gears. Needless to say I am still running the 35s.

Well I went with the 37s. As we speak its in the shop now having the lift installed. Stopped last night to check her out. The trusses and Cs are done! Looks great. They were letting the welding slow cool overnight then painting today and installing the 5.13s, all is on schedule to have back by the weekend!! Cant wait
