5.5 backspacing 33's tires ok?

I have a new Wrangler on order and want to purchase new wheels and tires.
The TKO wheel is listed in -6 and +18 offset.
Is it correct that the backspacing is 4.5 and 5.5?

I want to run duratrac 285/75/16. Will I have any clearance issues with the 5.5 backspacing?

I would like to go with 5.5 backspacing if possible to have less stress on the Jeep.

I have my answer. I also emailed Discount Tire Direct from this forum and received this response.

"Like you noted, the 16x8.5 ET-6 MB TKO has 4.5" of back space and the 16x8.5 ET+18 MB TKO has 5.5" of backspace. Both sizes work with tire size 285/75-16 without issue. The 16x8.5 ET-6 will stick outside the fenders slightly while the 16x8.5 +18 will sit flush with the fenders. If you plan on upgrading to larger tires in the future (35" or taller) a 4.5" back space is recommended."

I'm considering the same setup with different tires. I'm concerned about rubbing 'cuz I have no plans on lifting the Jeep. Which did you end up with, and do you have any rubbing at full lock? I'm not really going to be flexing on rocks, just some light trails (my Jeep is my DD).

I'm looking to get the same wheels with the 5.5 offset.... Putting 275/85R16 tires on as well and have been assured that they will fit with no issues. Currently I have no lift but will be getting the Rancho 2" lift soon after. Hoping to order in two weeks!

I have not noticed any rubbing. The representative on this forum from discount tire direct said I have (0.6") more clearance over the stock 17" wheels and tires. I have 16x8.5 +18 offset with 285/75-16.

My 33s work fine with 5.2bs pintlers even better with a 2.5 lift.
