Agressive AT or Quiet MT for DD and Mud

I am in the market for either an aggressive AT or quiet MT tire.

I have read many good reviews and a lot of people recommend the Goodyear Duratracs. I've seen comments stating that they are good on snow/ice. We don't get much of that here. Most of my off road would be mud. Not so much that it is really deep, but that it is very slick. How well do the duratrac handle in mud?

What others would you recommend? I see quite a few people around here that run the Nitto Trail Grapplers or Copper STT.

Anybody with experience with the Copper ST Maxx?

How are the Toyo Open Country MTs on the road/highway?

Everyone I personally know that has the Cooper SST doesn't like them. The duratracs are classified as all terrain, but are pretty aggressive, and from I understand, are still very quiet. Walmart also has a store specific Goodyear all terrain that is almost like the duratracs. I would look at one of those two, or Cooper Discoverer ATP which is specific to Discount Tire. I have them and like them very much. All terrain pattern that is quiet but with deep, decently wide lugs for an all terrain.

I'm running toyos in 35s on both my rigs and I love them. They are loud, however they are awesome off road. They were expensive tho

Here is a simple side-to-side that we encountered on Saturday while in Mexico: MUD ROMP: BFG AT/KO, M/T Baja MTZ vs BFG MT/KM2

FWIW, my ATs literally held onto the mud so I would not recommend them.

Toyo AT2 are so quiet...I ran 15 miles on the freeway with one tire flat (sidewall puncture from my stupidness), I I thought my suspension was out of whack but when I got home, I noticed that the tire was flat. Great reviews in all forums, priced right, long life, and new to market which means new everything.
