RoxstarD you might get them on before I do!
So, what is your initial impression of them? Any reason you aren't just mounting them yourself?

$300 seems awfully high, I'm not sure how the guy you spoke with on the phone got to that number. I would recommend contacting one of your local Discount Tire locations directly, they know their installation prices much better.

I just ordered mine today! I was going to get "the package" (duratracks and mb72s) but they were out of stock... then Patrick at DTD mentioned the TKO's, I pulled a pic up on the laptop and said "DO IT!!" they should be in next Wednesday. Patrick provided very good service for me, he was able to answer every question I had, and made sure that everything was perfect for my order. I will be ordering from you guys again when the wife's Prius (yeah yeah I know...) needs new tires.

Ok so I called my local Discount Tire store and the guy said its about $19.99 to mount and balance each tire and about $8 to switch over the TPMS. So it should be under $120. The guy then asked why I didnt just buy the tires and wheels in store as he said they would have been the same price and would they would have been mounted and balanced free and that they would have matched my online price (even the wranglerforum.com discount).... darn haha :-/

Eitherway I headed there after work. One thing I found funny was that I called the Chrysler/Jeep dealer and asked how much it would all cost. He said it would be around $60 to get the wheels on, but about $120 to switch over the TPMS. no thanks!

Now I should probably get some bumpstops I suppose?

I'm glad they are going to be able to help you with your install and swapping your TPMS over. I'm surprised to hear they said they would have offered you free mount and balance as this is usually $19.99 per tire no matter how you buy them. This is because our balance services are good for the life of your tires and also include free flat repair at any of our over 800 locations.

In any event, we're happy we are able to help you and look forward to seeing your pictures!

I could have misheard him on the free mounting and balancing..part as a jet was flying by..lol Though I do see on the discount tire site that it says something about free mounting and balancing when buying a set of four tires and wheels.

Anyways I cant wait for the work day to be over and to get these tires on!

So I'm at a Discount Tires location about to get the new set of wheels/tires put on (minus the spare since its not here yet).

The gentleman here said I could have had the wheels for $10 (each) cheaper and the tires $10 (each) cheaper and still have had all the same discounts as online, plus the labor cost or something would be lower. So make sure you check your local DT store about their prices first! And im not saying that DTD was a bad choice, they were awesome with their help and I like what I got!

Here's the last time she has stock wheels on!

Ask DT to pass along the savings to you in form of coupons or gift card that you would've saved going through them. Let them know the wife needs tires soon. Worse they can say is no

Jealous that your getting them today. Since you Jeep is black(dark) maybe once mine are installed itll be the yin to yang.

Congrats

Lol I already asked but he kept saying "next" time..
He did say the tires might rub on the front fenders, though I think only in tight turns. Gotta save for that lift!
Yin to Yang haha that would be cool.

Dude that's awesome, those look great. Throw on a teraflex leveling kit or a 2.5 and that Jeep will be boss. What a difference that made. Makes me even more excited about mine tomorrow.

No, not as much as I thought it would be. I have a 3 year old with double pneumonia, he feels fine and mean as ever, but can get out in the cold and I don't want to leave him unless I have too, so it's not bothering me too much. Plus with gas prices there is no point in me making an 1.5 hour round trip just for tires and wheels. They can wait till tomorrow.

Looks nice! Are those the 33x12.5x15 Rocky Mountains? I almost went with 16" wheels and the 285/75/16 Rocky Mountains instead of the 15s and DTs.

Yeah, I knew they were the Rocky Mountains. Was just trying to make sure I got the size right. I'm thinking, whenever I upgrade to 35s (which I know I will eventually), I may go with the 35x12.5x15 version of these. That is, unless they are making a 35x12.5x15 Duratrac by then.
