back space question

I'm looking at a set of wheels that have 5.39 back space, has anyone tried this?

it'll work...assuming you will not run wider than stock tires. if your gonna go wider, look into purchasing a set of spacers.

I'm running 5.5" backspacing with 33" tires. It's a perfect fit. 285/70r17 on 8.5" wheels. All stock and no rubbing in any situation.

The width of the tire is not the only consideration, it's the width of the wheel, the tire width and diameter.

Don't buy the hype that you need 3.5" or 4.5" backspacing in every case. When you use less backspacing you begin to rub in other areas and the tires are sticking way out beyond the fenders.

In addition, too little backspacing moves the scrub radius out, wearing tires out faster, helping contribute to DW, and adds extra strain to the unit bearings

After more research I found the AEV wheels are at 5.20 so I'm not that worried any more, they should be fine with no problems
