Backspacing

Hey guys ok so im buying these rims from a neighbor and I have a question. Ok so the rims are 16x8 and have 5" backspacing and i'm going to be putting 31" Mud dawg tires on them and I am riding in a 99 Jeep wrangler with stock suspension, and the question is am i going to have a problem with rubbing?

Thanks S.B

Depends on the width of the tire. So...what width.

You'll be fine on stock wheels and suspension with 31x10.5 tires.

Only rub you "may" get is on the front lower control arm which is very easily fixed by adding a washer or two to the steering stop bolt.

Stock rubicon wheels are 16x8 with 5''bs. Stock with 31x10.5. works fine bud.

10.5 wide tire is pretty much the limit at 5'' bs though.
