Balancing 33's

I went into my local garage yesterday to get my tires balanced. They said that the machine was calling for 27oz of weight and 10oz was the max they have ever put on a tire. They told me that there were beads that you can buy that go inside the tire and they auto balance. Just wondering if anyone is using these so called beads and if so what is the actual name?

Thanks

If you have a tire calling for that much weight you have bigger problems. Likely the tire is bad, possibly the wheel but not likely. If they are new have that tire changed out.

I had a 35 inch MTR Kevlar that needed 16 ounces, it never would balance out.
