Beadlocks???

Upgrading to 38's and beadlocks are going to be a must for sand and rock crawling when I lower the psi. I can't seem to find a beadlock rim that isn't butt ugly. Would love some suggestions!!
(please don't bother writing, "rim design doesn't matter if its a true off road rig.")

How about Hutchinson Rock Monster or Spyderlock wheels? I actually dont need beadlocks but like the looks of those wheels so much that I may end up spending double what a normal wheel would cost and getting them.
AEV pintler also is beadlock and looks nice.

if you are getting racelines, throw the bolts away that they send with the wheels and get "real" grade 8 bolts.

I like the Staz ones because they lock both sides. I've seen several trail ready's blow the inside bead off.

First, sorry to hijack, second, sorry to revive old posts, but:

Do they make beadlocks with black rimsthat are decent looking? I've seen some interesting ones, but not to keen on the shiny.

Thanks in advance!

Walker Evans bead locks offers that option, or any good powder coat shop can shoot them and color you want.

Why is it that beadlocks are not DOT approved? Is it against the law to buy them for my DD?

I think that it has to do with the money it takes to get DOT approved. I run racelines on my DD.

Hummer H1's (92-2006) came with stock Hutchinson DOT beadlocks.

Here's a current wrangler dual beadlock:
