Before I pull the trigger....

OK, folks...I have tried to find/sort through this information myself...There are tons of questions/answers and just as I think I'm getting a comfort level, I see something else that concerns me.

So, here it goes: I am about to buy my wheels online. I wanted 16x8, but I just really like these and they're 17x9. My jeep is completely stock, and I may or may not lift it-if I do, it will be minimal. For the 17x9 wheel, I'm thinking of getting a 275(max)/75/17 tire. Does anyone foresee problems with this set up? I'm not sure why exactly, but I really don't want to use spacers, and obviously, I don't want rubbing issues. This is a DD, and I doubt I will flex it much.

Just hoping for last minute input before I place the order for these wheels

make sure its 4.5 backspaced. i'm running 285/70/17 on stock suspension. no rubbing even at full lock at all. No trimming, no nothing. Keep in mind you will be 1/5 an inch taller, but just a tad smaller in width, but other than that, your good to go.

Nice. Vtec raptors will look nice on your ride. It's a very expensive upgrade but well worth it. Congrats. Be sure to post some pics.

^I was on the same boat. it took me a while to decide on the size of wheels and tire size. when i narrowed it down, i was more stumped bcuz theres so many choices. The bfg's are great tires so you won't be disappointed.

I think I live near both of you. Look for me on North Tarrant Parkway/1709/Bear Creek Park.

Nice!!!! You'll definitely get more jeep waves. Once I installed my wheels/tires, I've been getting more than I was used to
