Best 33" Mud Terrain Tire

What is the best mud terrain tire? cost? durability? traction? longest lasting?

I am asking this question because i am going to buy new 33" tires and wondering what everybody recommends with their experience.

Thanks!!!

I recently bought 5 X-Terrain Procomp tires, went with them mainly because 4 Wheel parts had a buy 3 get 1 free sales. (Which is actually still going on)

I was a little weary about getting anything Procomp, but I've had the tires 3 months and I can attest to how bad ass they are in the snow =) I was going through almost 2 feet of the stuff like it was nothing... off road not on pavement =) They do well in the mud too.

They are loud, but if you've ever had a mud terrain before you know that after a week or so your brain just tunes it out. I guess I can't really speak to their longevity, as with any tire I think it's more about your driving habits than the rubber.

I just put on the Cooper STT's on my TJ and so far I like them a lot. I have the ProComp Xtreme A/T's on my F-350 diesel and the have 35,000miles on them and I'll easily get another 20-25,000 out of them. Even on a heavy truck.

where and what do you wheel. best tire is very subjective and terrain based. A tire that works well in the southeast might suck out west.

I personally like KM2s for a mixed use rig in the northeast they have good grip on rocks mud and off camber trails.

I live out in SoCal, doesnt rain much. Mostly through dried washes, dirt, loose grave, mud (when it rains), hill climes, little bit of snow. My dad has Mickey Thompson mud terrains.

I just had the hankook dynapro mud terrain installed. So far no complaints. Have not tried mid get buy from the reviews i saw should have no issues. They are not to noisy and are aggressive.
