Center bore on stock wheel?

Trying to understand all aspects of wheels and tires, wanting to get aftermarket wheel with larger tires. Have 2010 sport with the 17" alloy wheels, looking at 17" aftermarket. Got the back spacing figured out (I think), what I can't find is a thread on center bore. 2 wheels I'm looking at have different center bores, 78.3 and 83.06. Both say they will fit my Jeep. Seems this should matter??? Is this where you get hub centric rings, if bore is too big? Anyone know what my stock wheels are? Searched internet, can't find there or on wheel itself. Any help is appreciated, don't want to make a mistake here.

I believe stock is 71.5mm and yes this where hub centric rings come in to play. Stock rims and a few others are hub centric most aftermarket are not. Rugged Ridge and AEV both have some hub centric as does Interco.

If the wheels are not hub centric the center bore can be oversize. Stock wheels are hub centric and so "should" the your choice of aftermarket wheels.
