Changing rim size....Question

HiYa,, I have a set of 235/75R/15 tires on stock 15x7 rims. #1. Would these tires safely fit on a new set of 15x8 rims? If so, what does it do?

#2. Does it make the tire stretch wider on the rim or taller?

#3. Does it "stress" the tire out by being wider? Thanks very much!

I'm not a tire guy as you can see....

It'll work fine. Your sidewall won't be as fat, but the difference will be so minute you won't even notice. No other significant contortions of the rubber, and it won't stress anything out.
