Changing to Moab wheels, 33" tires ok?

I currently have a 2011 Sahara with the stock 18" wheels and tires in need of replacing. I'd like to get away from the 18" wheels. I've found a set of 17" black Moab wheels and tires priced reasonable. However I would like to move up to a 33" tire like the Duratrac or BFG. Can the Moab wheels accommodate this? I do plan on 2" lift.

have moab myself and have been looking at 33s.. I plan on leveling kit with 1.5 spacers ... moab wheels need more offset ... there is a thread about max tire size that mentions the needed offset with stock moab wheels

Close comparison

Here is my 2013 JKUS Oscar Mike with 2013 Rubi Wheels (similar to Moab but silver and grey) wearing 285/70R17 GY MT/R Kevlars (measure out to close to 33"). To avoid rub I installed 1.5" spacers. Plan on a lift later, but still running stock suspension now. I know that Duratracs are available in the same size and will fit the 7.5 inch width of stock wheels, though I am not sure which BFGs are available to meet your needs.

That looks really good. Making me reconsider buying rims and just adding spacers to my rubicon takeoffs with 33" duratracs.
