Classic question..33s and what gears?

I'll get to the point:

92' Wrangler
4.0
Stock 3.07s

Switching to 4 cylinder axles with 4.10s

33s with 4.10s--Good match up?

Driven 75% street 25% light off road.

I say it depends on what you want to do. I have a 4 banger with 35s with stock 4:10s.Iit does fine all around town cant complain. But on the highway is a different story. Dont get me wrong i can still hit 70 but that down hill with the wind.lol but i do love the 35s. If i had the money though id probably go for 4.88 oh yeah and different axles too.

I think you had it right 4.11s will be perfect for you. I have 33s and 4.56s and I idle a little high at 70mph.

I would personally run 4.56. I think majority people that run 33s with your set up go to 4.56. I have 35s, and will be running 4.88s with the 4.0 and manual. However in your case, it may simpler to stick to 4.10s rather than regearing. Either way, its gonna be better than your 3.07s.

That's what I'm thinking. Regearing is a lot of money and if I can get my hands on axles with 4.10s in them from a 4 cylinder YJ, id rather do that.

If you get the 4.10s you will also have the correct carriers for the 4.46s or 4.88s if you ever decide to go that route.
