Considering Toyo 285/75/18s - need info

I have a 2013 Sahara and would like to get bigger tires.

I have aftermarket wheels that are 18x9 with 5.7" backspacing.

I do not have the factory plastic skid plate.

I am thinking about the Toyo 285/75/18 since they measure about 34 1/2" x 11.5" I was originally considering 33s but thought 35s might be too big.

My Jeep is in town 99% of the time so it is for looks more than anything else.

My questions are:
1) Do I need a leveling kit or slight lift?
2) Is the backspacing on my wheels enough at 5.7"?
3) Are my stock 3.21 gears enough to run a 34" tire?

which toyo's??

1. that tire will fit as long as u have the proper backspaced wheels.
2. the bs is too high. it won't work...your gonna need spacers.
3. 3.21 manual is ok, 3.21 auto is better.

Toyo Open Country ATs.

I'd prefer NOT to use spacers. Would rather use a slight level or lift if it would work.

The wheels I have are already spaced 3/4" less than stock, so if I need spacers can I use 3/4" spacers or do they not come that size?

It's 3.21 auto.

go with the toyo AT2 instead of the previous generation.

even if you lift your vehicle, the tires will still be in contact with the rear links based on your 5.7 backspacing.

Spidertrax come in 1.25, 1.375, 1.5. for your issue, get the 1.25.

3.21 auto will work. pair it up with aev procal to fix speedo and shift points.
