cooper at3

A buddy of mine can get me a set for 540 mounted and balanced. Are they worth the money? I've never heard anything bad about cooper tires.

All I could find on them. However, believe there was a name change not long ago (from AT3 to SST? could be wrong).

Just cuz you're not getting a lot of responses doesn't mean they're bad tires. Might wanna add some info the thread, such as what year Jeep you have, 2-door or 4, rim size, what type of wheeling you do, etc. Make it easier for folks to relate.

Here are some links:

Another reason you probably not getting alot of responses are these are fairly new tires, it just replaced the ATR this summer. If it is anything like the ATR it will be a very good street tire, quiet, good wear, and wet traction. It looks like it has a little bit more aggresive tread pattern than the ATR had. I am a fan of Coopers, I run the Discover S/T on my JK and CS4 on the wife's minivan and have been very happy with both.

Consumer Reports rate it the number one SUV and light truck all-terrain tire

Jeep is a 95. I went ahead and ordered a set in 31x10.5. I originally was going to get the fallen wild peak but I couldn't pass up the price he gave me.

I googled some reviews and they seem like a good tire. They did well in some offroading tests and some people in the tacoma forums are running them and love them. I will post up pics when they get installed.

I will have pics up tomorrow.

How are they? I was thinking about getting a set for my 97 TJ. I have BFGoodrich AT's KO's currently but I need to replace soon.

Haven't had them offroad but so far I love them. Smooth, quiet, and wet traction has been superb.

Good to hear. They tested well off-road for light to moderate. I'm a top down, driving country roads, trail riding type of user. Thanks for the update. Do you have a photo of your jeep with them on? I'd like to see your ride.

Thanks again.

here you go. The canyons push them right to the edge of the fenders.

just to show how meaty they are here are a set of 30" MT's that were on the jeep when I bought it. The coopers dwarf them.

Hey how have they been holding up for you? I need to replace my 2 front tires, I have ATR's in the back. Is the AT3 worth it? I want some good offroad traction too, but we don't do anything crazy. Some mud holes, lots of wood trails.

Been wearing great. I've been on the beach and some light trails. Nothing too heavy and they have done very well.

I have a set on my F250 which will never be to far off road since it is a 2wd, so I can't review them there. I will say on the road they are a great tire. They handle great in the wet and with a load on the truck they have a sure footed feel to them. I really like them.
