Cooper STT's tire pressire

I'm running 35x12.5x17 Cooper STT's and wondering what other people have their pressure set to. Discount Tire told me I should be running them at 40 psi...I thought this seemed high so right now I'm at 35 psi

Have u tried any thing other than 26? I'm afraid if I go too low, my MPG's will start to go down

No cause I want them to wear even, not wear out the centers. Google chalk test its the best way to find the correct tire pressure. Bigger tires no matter what gears will affect your mpg compared to what you get stock. If your really concerned about mpg then dont put bigger tires on it.
