Duratrac question - Load ratings?

Looking for some place that has 315/75r16 in load rating C. Am I searching for a Unicorn or what?

Every place I've browsed so far only offer these in E/LT rating; would prefer to get the softer ride that those with C ratings claim, since the Jeep ('14 JKU) is primarily a DD.

Sams Club
Walmart
Discount Tire
Tirerack
4wheel parts

None seem to offer in less than E rating...

Thanks guys/gals!

I really don't think E's are the evil villain people make them into. But I am comparing them to 225/40-18s on my car so maybe I am the crazy one and everyone else is fine.

On smooth pavement Es are fine... maybe even good on a tall tire since the stiff sidewalls might actually enhance driving/cornering grip.

But on washboard/river rock Es will ride like a bucking bronc. Cs are much smoother on a rough road.

You are chasing a unicorn. Goodyear only makes a "C" rated tire in a 15" size. I'm not sure why, probably has to to with the number of 16" and 18" truck wheels, but all 16s and 18s I saw where "E" rated. Interestingly enough, you can get a "D" rated Duratrac, but only in a 17" wheel. I run the 315/70R17 "D" rated Duratrac on my LJ and love these tires. Yes, they do have a weaker sidewall, but for daily driving (i.e. 90+ % on-road) they are one of the best tires I've had on any 4x4 vehicle. Here are some pics of them on my LJ:

I concur... unicorns. Trying to find a 16/17 inch C is like trying to find a 15 inch D/E.

In lots of Wranglers you can downsize to 15 inch rims to get the ride you want.
