We try hard to offer the lowest delivered price on all the tires we carry. In fact, we have a dedicated department that shops the competition to make sure we are indeed the cheapest delivered price out there. We are human though and some prices fall through the cracks. If you've found one lower, we want to know! We will beat our competitions lowest delivered price (unit price + freight). We won't be undersold! Just keep in mind that most of our competitors don't show you the total price until you're in their shopping cart. For an accurate comparison, be sure to add their additional shipping charges to their base price.
There are two ways to contact us about our low price guarantee. The fastest way is by calling us at 1.888.459.4080 or your local Discount Tire/America's Tire store. All of our sales agents have the necessary on-line tools to look up the cheaper price and ensure you're getting the best possible deal. You can also submit the cheaper price on our websites at Discount Tire Direct.com or DiscountTire.com (SEE THE EXAMPLE BELOW). We will contact you within 1 business day (excluding Sunday) after you submit the lower price.
Discount Tire has been in business for 50 years and we have built relationships with all of the top tire and wheel manufacturers. We take pride in offering the lowest prices, the most choices and the best customer service in the industry. With your help, we can continue ensuring the best possible pricing! Went in to the Stafford Texas store this morning trying to replace the 225/75R15's on my TJ and was told I really needed to put oversize mudder tires on it. "You should see my truck, they look great on it, you'll like them." I explained that I wasn't interested in off road tires but rather tires with more of a street profile. The guy behind the counter told me, "I'm not the best guy to ask since I think you should have dirt tires on it." Then after looking in the computer I was told Discount Tire didn't carry any tires for my jeep unless I was willing to replace all 5 and go with 31" tires.
That's odd. I'm sorry you didn't have the best experience. We have plenty of options for you. Here's a link to 225/75R15 tire options (I would assume I shouldn't have to say this but I try not to assume anything; I can't filter out the ST trailer tires in this size so please ignore them.): Tire Products - Discount Tire Direct
The best tire for you will be the one that fits your needs best. I'm a Jeep owner and I know that a tire that works great for me, won't work great for everyone. For a highway tire I'd recommend looking at the BFG Long trail T/A tour. These would be an excellent high mileage tire. They have a 60k warranty and they get excellent reviews from our customers.
Is DT willing to match price and give the 10% military discount and install for the price of the competitor?...Honestly id rather buy from DT because i'm not a big fan of the competitor but its all about money saved.
We guarantee the lowest delivered price. Price matches can not be combined with other discounts. Please call us if we can work a quote up for you. We would love to earn your business. 1.888.459.4080

Found the same tire $9.00 cheaper locally at just tires and they are offering $60 off if I use their credit card. Duratrac 265/70/17. Seems like a no-brainer to purchase locally unless you guys can substantially beat their price per tire. Thoughts?
Found a $50 off coupon to sweeten the deal making their price $19 cheaper each tire than yours and their total cost for all 5 tires at $1125.25.
Also found these tires for sale on tirepackage.com for $219.99 plus 3% off for each tire and $24.95 shipping making their final cost delivered at $1091.90.
Unless you can beat that 1091.90 price pretty substantially then it makes sense for me to purchase locally and avoid the shipping and transporting hassles to the tire store for install. I would have put this info in your online found it cheaper area but there is no description box for adding in coupons, etc.
Give us a call at 1.888.459.4080 and anyone of our sales agents would be happy to assist you with your Found it Lower inquiry. When you call please specify which load range you are looking to purchases as Goodyear offers their 265/70-17 DuraTrac in two load ranges (LR-C & LR-E).
I took my brand new Jeep into one of your stores to swap the stock tires for GY Silent Armors. The sales rep said that TPMS rebuilds were mandatory per federal law even on brand new vehicles. (extra cost was $32)
After I got home I did some research and I can't find any link saying TPMS rebuilds are mandatory per federal law
I apologize but there may have been some miscommunication. Federal law requires vehicles 2007 and newer (that do not exceed a certain GVW) to come from the factory with a TPMS safety system. Our stores offer TPMS rebuild kits for your TPMS sensors. These re-build kits replace parts that can degrade over time. Replacing these parts each time you replace your tires helps to ensure your TPMS sensors will continue to work properly. Rebuild kits are not mandatory per federal law.
Please PM us the address for the location you visited. We would like to make sure they are providing the correct information to our customers.
If Tirebuyer has a cheaper advertised out the door price, we'll beat it :thumb:
