General Grabber AT2's input...

any input on the GG AT2's for street wear? i dont offroad a lot (not til i get a bigger engine) and i wanted to upgrade from the stock tires (215.75.15) to a larger tire 31x10.5x15 (w/no lift) and i wanted to know how they perform on the street. i couldnt care less if they make noise or not, i just want input on street handling and if my decision to purchase these (next week) is a good choice or not. any input will help. thx

btw, i do a lot of highway driving at speeds 70mph+.

My mom has them on her yukon xl and they do fine on the street. They are great in the snow and the rain also. They aren't loud at all, but i know you said you don't really care about that. I feel like they will wear faster than the bfg's but they are cheaper.

Does anyone have photos of Jeep with these tires? I am considering the same tire and just wondering how they are going to look?

The only downside to the General AT2s is they can be a nightmare to balance in some sizes. There's also a large difference in tread life depending on the size you pick. Some sizes have a UTQG as low as 200/B/B (31x10.5-15, 265/75-16,) while others are as high as 640/A/B (255/55-18.) Expect about 30K-35K miles for the average drive (50% city, 50% hwy.)
