We ran them for a year on our 2013 and loved them. We swapped them onto the new 2014 and bought 35" DuraTracs because we liked the 33s so much.

I just swapped out my stock wheels and tires and moved to an AEV 2.5" lift and Black Pintler wheels with 35" Duratracs (315/70x17). However, not being on for 12 hours, one concern I have is their height.....at most they're only 33.5" high (tire diameter).

I have heard many say they are not as large as advertised and I expected 34 and some change.....should I be concerned about 33.5"? I'm running them at 31psi.

Any advice from others with experience is appreciated.

Majority of tires don't run at the advertised tire sizing. Tire companies measure differently along with a few other factors also. My 33x12.5 duratracs measure in at around 31.5" if I remember correctly at 28psi cold.

Thx! I figured they weren't as advertised....but still surprised at the discrepancy. Especially when other friends and neighbors had similar sized tires and yet were closer to 34 and some change vs. 33 - 33.5. I guess each manufacturer reads the #'s their own way....this must be the new math. :-)

I was thinking about getting the duratracs as well and they seem pretty good but i read some reviews that said they are kinda squishy around corners. Anybody have any problems?

I've been running a set on my 2 door jk. Love them. 315/75/16. Measure around 33 and half on the jeep also. They seem to have handled everything I have thrown at them well so far.

Just had mine (285/70/17) put on the other day. Checked the EVIC and it has them at 37psi. I'm not crazy right, those are way overinflated?
