I am really leaning towards getting rid of my stock tires and getting DuraTrac's. There seems to be lots of good feedback on them.
I have a 2011 JK, I mostly use it as a daily driver in the city/ freeway. But I also like to do easy/moderate trails at the weekends. Which would you recommend? I am looking to stick with Goodyear, so that I get my $100 TL discount.
I intend on dropping from a 17" to 16" wheel and going with a 265/75R16C.
Check out the latest JP magazine...it has a huge tire write up in it.
MODS: 2.5" Rubicon Express lift, 1" lift greasable shackles, POR-15'd new frame, Chrysler 825 rear end w/355 gears and disk brake swap, solid front axle (no more vacuum!), herculined tub (interior & bottom), Dunlop Radial Mud Rover 32X11.5 R15 on black steel rims, custom hi lift jack hood mount, Ramsey 8K winch, and AEM Brute Force air intake system.
Custom rear bumper in progress, Rock sliders on deck, and then front bumper...all fabricated by...ME!
Are those the MCE flat fenders? If so how do you like them?
Yes they are, and I love them...however when I bought them they did not have the fade resistant ones available...but nothing a little spray paint wont fix...actually painted them this past weekend. They actually werent that faded anyways, just a little lighter than when i got them.
