goodyear MT's

Just got a hell of a deal on some brand new 245/75/16 goodyear MT's (not MTR's the ones made before that) I talked the guy down to 400 mounted and balenced. I have rubi wheels on my jeep and had MTR's on them before the MT's and so far the ride is smoother and they really rip in the mud, better than the MTR's did but im a little worried about the sidewalls tearing easily on the rocks...

Anyone run goodyear MT's now or in the past and if you have has that been a problem?...also how do they wear?

That's a good price on good tires. Or as my co-worker puts it: "taahrs"

People run those all the time in Colorado rocks. I think once you get into a certain quality level, the remaining details become pretty trivial.

technically about 350 before mounting and balencing...i figured thats a pretty good price compared to anything else that would have run me close to 1000
