I don't know anything when it comes to choosing tires and wheels. It seems that there is so much that ya need to know and ya can't just pick what you want.
I know that I want, read: can afford, General Grabber AT2 tire
, but I'm not sure what to buy for a new rim. I know that I want a 35" tire because that is what my lift kit suggested and it's what I want.
I know that I can get a few different size rims, like a 17", 16" or 15"; I'm not sure what would be the best for me or really if rim size makes a difference. And then there is the width of the rim; Not really sure there either.
I would like to get rid of my wheel spacers that I have and get something that has a negative off set.(I heard that from a tire dealer, so I hope it is the right terminology)
I do alot of trail riding along with some moderate mudding and water crossing. I live in WI so lots of snow in the winter and I do ride the trails during winter. I'm not a fan of chrome and my stock rims are scratched due to rock crawling, so something that is chrome would be a waste; I would actually prefer all black wheels. Now I like the looks of the wheels that have the circles in them instead of the spoke look.
Here is a tire chart for the General Grabber AT2
So again the facts are: 35" General Grabber AT2 tire
16" rim maybe? What do you think?
