HELP picking perfect tire size

I bought a set of mb chaos 5s that are 16x8 Right now my jeep is stock and i want to know what the perfect tire size would be.
I was planning on doing a body lift of 1.25 and fitting the biggest tire with out jacking the jeep up too high(any more then the 1.25 bl) because its my DD.
whats the right tire size if im running 16s on my 99 sahara with a 1.25 body lift? or whats th biggest i can go? do i need any backspacing?

also best tire?

sorry for all the questions i just want to make sure i do everything right and perfect!

thanks for the help! much apprecaited!

33" tires is what most get when stock (same for myself). I heard you would want a 2.5" or higher lift with 35" tires and possibly a rear gear depending on what gears. 33" would be perfect for stock height and stock gear ratio. good luck choosing!

Got to remember the OP has a TJ, not a JK. Not going to be able to fit 33s on stock suspension on a TJ I don't believe.

I just got 265/75/16's on my stock 01. they fit perfect and tuck nicely in the rear but I'm also planning on getting a 2" BB soon
