help with tire size and lift height

I am currently in the market for buying 22in XD rockstar rims for my 2008 jeep wrangler sahara but i do not know what size rim or tire i should buy. i also need help with selecting a proper size lift?

I would check tire rack. You can look at specs for the tires including the sizes they offer. If they have one for 22's you'll see them.

You need to do some research. Not a lot of folks on here who run that large a wheel...I couldn't tell you where to begin.

As for tire size, you can fit 33" tires under a simple leveling kit, with no rubbing. You'll want wheels with 4.5" bacspacing or less, to make sure the tires clear suspension components. You can fit 35" tires under a 2.5" lift, but the problem you'll run into, since you have a 3.8L Jeep, is that you're undergeared to begin with. So running 35" tires will suck on the freeway, unless you spend the ~$1500 or so it takes for a regear.
