How big can I go?

I'm looking to buy bigger AT tires for my new '13 Wrangler Sport Unlimited (it came with regular all-season tires). What I'm wonder is how big can I go without having to change my gearing?

A friend suggested maybe 37" but he doesn't have any Jeep experience... that is what he has on his truck.

Any suggestions appreciated!

we don't have much low end power to push for bigger sizes. it will mostly depend on ur gearing. do u have 3.21 or 3.73? do u have an auto or manual?

3.21 w/ manual or auto = 33
3.21 w/ 35 = ur gonna lose 6th gear.
3.73 w auto = 35

but there are others that have 3.21 and have 37's...same with 3.73. it WILL be sluggish nonetheless upsizing to 37's.

I have 3.21 manual... I wasn't actually thinking of going as high as 37"... I was thinking somewhere between 30"-33", but wanted to make sure.

Thanks for your help!
