I have no idea what I'm doing. Please help?

I have a 2012 JKU Sport everything stock.
My coworker gave me some Procomps he had on his Chevy Silverado before he got his BFGs. The size on them are 33/12.5/17. Will these fit on my stock wheels?
I might just get rid of them if not because I really like the look of 15 inch wheels and am thinking of going that route.
Also what should i be looking for when I'm buying my new wheels backspacing and offset? What does that mean?
I apologize for my ignorance.
Thank you for your help.

I would say if you have 17 factory rims yes they will fit but may require a spacer to keep from rubbing when flexed.

I like 15s with 33s but you'll be glad you have 17s if you plan on going to 35s at some point.

x2. 15" wheels are good, but down the road as components wear, like tie rod ends and brakes -- you'll find most BETTER after market components will not fit inside a 15" wheel.

food for thought.
