is 4.5 in backspacing gonna rub?

i have an 02 tj with 4 inch skyjacker lift and 33x12.50 tires....looking to get new rims

new rims are gonna be a 15x10 with 4.50 backspacing......would i be fine or is that too much stress on stock axles?

another option is 15x10 with 3.75 in backspacing.....

tell me what yall think

You could go with a 15x8 rim as well, I ran 33x12.50' with 3.75bs as I recall. Stock BS is about 5.5 as I recall.

I also ran 15x10's w/12.50' and 4.25 to fit it on the trailer..lol but those where on dana 60's.

I would run around 4in or 3.5in. I think your going to rub with the 4.5in. I would go down to 15x8 too. I run it now with my 33's. You can air down farther with a narrower rim and not loose the bead.

If you haven't gotten more out of the insurance company than you deserve, then you haven't screwed them nearly as much as they have been screwing you for the past xx years.

Yup . . . 15x8 with 3.75 BS would be my vote too if you are running 33x12.5s.
