Is It Just My Imagination ??

I've only had my '13 Sport for 6 days. It came with 16" wheels. Yesterday I removed them (P225's) and put on 17" wheels from a Sport S, wearing Wrangler GS/A's. (My wife hated the basic wheel/tire setup and preferred the Sport S version).
Anyway, it seems to me that the 16's rode much smoother, and the 17's have a bit more bounce and sway. Almost all my driving is on secondary and gravel roads. Not much highway driving up here.
So, is it my imagination or have others noticed the same thing??

Sorry about the delay......had no computer while on the road.

Anyway, the 16" tires are Goodyear Wrangler ST the stock tires that the JK came with. Pressure is 34 lbs.
17" tires are Goodyear Wrangler GS/A. Tire pressure is 34 lbs.

Air filled tires the air can compress ant the rubber flexes steel or alloy rims don't

Ever compare ride of a bicycle with balloon tires to one with tiny air volume tire

On a car more of the overall diameter air and tire gives move cushioned ride but move wheel and less tire gives firmer ride with tighter cornering feel
