Jeep JK 16" or 17" tires and wheels?

I am thinking of buying new 33" tires and wheels for my 2010 JK. Are there any reasons to choose 16" vs 17" tires and wheels? The tires I am going to buy are available in both 16 and 17 so that is not a concern. Thanks

16" will give you more sidewall to work with. Depending upon the look you're going for and how you'll be using your Jeep, that may make a difference for you. Post pics when you decide and when you get them mounted up.

^^^ true and they will also be heavier on 16" wheels. The same tire will be lighter on 17" rims. Are the rims your using alloy or steel? Steel weighs more than alloy and isn't as durable.

16" tires are cheaper, a lot cheaper than 17's...... Wheels too! Plus more sidewall, less mall crawler looking.
