Level 8 Concept wheels - Your feedback requested

The wheel designers at Level 8 Wheels shot us some renderings of a few concept Truck/SUV wheels they are thinking about building. At this point, diameter, widths, offsets, finishes and even the cap could be changed or modified, We gave them our thoughts and then suggested posting them on a few forums for input. They said, by all means, lets see what the enthusiasts think.

So, give us your feedback, good and bad, voice your opinion. Do you have any suggestions? If they were priced similar to other Level 8 wheels that we sell would you buy them? Current Prices = Car & light truck custom wheels for sale priced cheap made by Level 8
For those of you that have seen the Level 8 ZX with optional Bolt-on Scratch Guard should any of these wheels have that option too?

ATTN: Photoshoppers - feel free to photoshop them onto your Jeep and post some pictures here with your thoughts.

The designers at Level 8 wheels will be reading your posts so please help us give them some constructive feedback.

Concept A: Six Spoke

Concept B: Seven Spoke

Concept C: Split Six Spoke

Nice looking wheels. Not too crazy about the number 8 on the center cap but the construction design looks well done and would look good on the Jeeps

IMO, none of those are bad looking wheels. However, I do not think any of them would look good on a Wrangler. They all look more like tuner wheels to me. With a deeper lip, maybe the Concept B: Seven spoke could work.

What if any of them had the bolt on scratch guard like the Level 8 ZX?

It would add a lip detail similar to the one on the ZX and it would help protect the TPMS sensors...

With Bolt-on Scratch guard

I like the 6 spoke. Don't care for the others. Agree on the "8" cheesy.

Yes... Would look better with the guard

Mineral grey?

I really like the 6 spoke, but have a fundamental problem with the number 8 in the middle of a six spoke wheel. I am a fan of them coming in a mineral grey or tungsten.

Like the rock guard and wheels. I think that a charcoal would be very cool. I don't mind the 8 logo.

look good, i would like to see the mounting surface set in deeper, around 4in back spacing. (and no 18, or 20 sizes! unless there wide enough to run a 40+ tire)

"8" logo looks better bisected, not so much like a "B". I'm with the peeps above, a medium gray would be nice, and vastly different from what's out there, for the most part.

I like em with the scratch guards.

Split six version is my favorite.

The less pronounced the '8' is, the better. Split 6 is the the only appealing one to me. After that it's pricepoint.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. They just sent me one more concept for now. This is basically their split 6 spoke concept but with the split filled in.

17"

I like the bold clean look, flat/matte black.

would look great on a minivan, not so much on a Jeep. the curved ends look fragile at the rim.

I have to agree with this post. They are definitely nice looking wheels, but look more like they belong on a lowered-nitro boosted Honda than on a Jeep.

I agree that they are very "tuner" in look and style but for the Mall Crawlers, they wouldn't look bad on a Wrangler at all. I cant imagine anyone wrapping them in PitBull tires and rock crawling them though.

On a side note, how about a Guardian or Strike 8 with something like 15X9 and 3.75BS? I would run either of those in bright silver or black on my Wrangler. Also, what are the weights of these wheels. I can't find that info anywhere!

I love this idea. I've been pushing for a 15x8.5 or 15x9 for a while. Maybe someday it will happen.

I like the split six with the updated "split 8". Then again, I like the MB TKO, so if price was close I would have a decision to make.

How about the split 6 with optional rock guard in a 15x8,15x8.5 or 15x9, 5x4.5 lug pattern with a 3.75 or 4" BS in Silver, Granite or a charcoal color. Some thing like that I think i would buy. Maybe even a polished look.

Split 6 spoke would look OK on a Wrangler..but the others I don't like.

Tell them to make the ZX and Guardian in 15x8 for Wranglers and they won't have to worry about building any additional wheels right now.

This is almost the winner. Add the guards, get rid of the cheesy "8" center cap and make them black. Then you are really talking.

I would buy the 6 spoke second rendition but I think it has to have the scratch guard.
