Mtr vs. Irok

all i can say is i miss my MTR's. The Iroc's do not grip the rocks like the MTR's and i keep slipping off my line. I'm going to drop those pigs down to 5lbs next time and if they still slip i'll be glad when they wear out.

from the looks of it that won't take long.

You need to run Iroc's at very low pressure to get grip, once you do they are awesome.

What size, type, and pressure do you run on them?

A buddy of mine had the bias Iroks in the 36" and they wouldn't hook unless they where aired down to 6psi or less, then they where unstoppable.

Keep them rotated often too, they wear out quick.

On edit: On my 40" old school MTR's I have to run 6 psi or less to get them to hook too. At 10psi they don't even bulge the side wall. I could probably go lower still but 6 seems to do good on them.

Yep. That's what I've been hearing. I'll check 5 psi this weekend
