Need advise.

I just bought a 2008 jeep wrangler unlimited and I want a cheap lift kit and bfg 295/75R16 all terrain tires. I was thinking about a teraflex 2.25"bb lift.

Nice lift. I have one in the garage I'm putting on. For a bb it's as good as you'll get. The coil springs and shocks will also give you 3" to 3.5" of lift too. I like Teraflex lifts. Awesome lift for the price, and very popular among JK owners

Ok thanks. Will the 2.25" bb lift without a bl have enough clearance for the 295's?

Should be fine, I think you can put 33's on a stock JK. Those are probably just over 33"x11.5's.... Make sure you have enough backspace on the wheels for 11.5's.

Ok, the lifts ive been looking at come with or without shocks. Could i buy the ones without shocks and use the factory ones with the 2.25" bb lift?

Yes. I have a 2.5" lift and I'm installing 35's. I'll have minor rubbing at full flex, so I'll either trim up or remove my fenders. You however, should clear everything just fine unless you have heavy bumpers and a winch.

My quote thing just vanished, but to answer your other question...

What's included in your lift? Things you'll NEED are extended bumpstops if it's spacers, and extended shock brackets if you aren't buying new shocks. A rear trackbar is nice to have, but not really needed. My advise is to buy yourself the 2.5" teraflex SPACER bb. It has everything you need for like $300. Plus you'll get an extra 1/4" of lift

your tire size is a little over 33". Another option is to trim your fenders, buy some steering stops, and forget the lift. 33's ALMOST fit without lifting.
