New jeep owner NEED HELP LIFT/TIRES

I just bought a 2012 jeep wrangler sport. I want to lift it up a little 1-3" and get some of the thick black tires on it. I do not have much knowledge on anything car related so any help would be much appreciated. If you could send or post pics of what you have done that would be very helpful! I use the jeep for mainly city driving. I live in a suburban area and earthing is driving distance away. Thanks in advance for the help and I am glad to be apart of the jeep life!

Hello.
Welcome to the site.

I would go with the TF leveling kit spacers.
And contact Discount Tire Direct and they will hook you up.

Thanks for the help. Due to my inexperience I have a question which I am sure you could translate to logical terms. I want to lift it up enough where for me it is an awesome step up but for anyone one not a jeep owner and inconvenient step up. Hahah hope that makes sense.

Just added the TERAFLEX 2.5" coil lift kit 6 hours of install with the son and I love the height and ride

I got a set of 15x8 Level 8 tracker wheels and 33x12.50x15 Goodyear Duratrac tires from Discount Tire. The first pic is with no lift at all. The 2nd pic is with a TeraFlex leveling boost kit on it. The 3rd pic is with a TeraFlex 2.5 spring lift and Bilstein shocks.

I payed $1625 for them with TPMS shipped to my door ready to mount. I also got 2 $50 Visa gift cards rebate from Discount Tire and $60 Visa gift card rebate from Goodyear.

I did not get the lifetime replacement to save some money.

Mine will be coming off soon. Today I ordered a set of 5 315x75x16 BFG MT with MB 72 black 16x8.5 wheels.

@coouks, you can get the teraflex budget boost for about 130. or you can upgrade to some 4dr rubicon take off suspension components. It should yield you about the same height as the teraflex budget boost if not more and your suspension will come with upgraded active coils/shocks.

wheels/tires...so many options. search functions will help out more.
