New Member Question...WU Rubicon

Hey all,

I am new to the forum and am looking for some answers on my 08 Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon. I am interested in a 2" lift and upgrading tires and possibly rims. Currently have stock 17" rims with Goodrich Mud terrain in the newer tread. I want to add some clearance and also give it a little meaner appearance.

What would you suggest in tire size under a 2" lift? Is there a better kit to go with? What performance changes will I see with the lift and potentially bigger tires? If I do change with the rim, should I stay with 17" or go to 18"? Lastly, regarding offset, I am not looking for too much tire flare but enough to give it a beefier look. Suggestions?

Thanks so much for replying and look forward to reading any feedback.

Brad

Same questions as above but I'm not looking to lift yet just a little mud and very light crawling. 2010 Sport with the 3.73 in the rear, currently stock. Suggestions on wheels / tires?
