Yes. You won't be able to air down off-road as much as you would with a 16x8 rim, but it'll work.

Hi, KBB. i have a question, why do most tire stores push 285/70/17 for 17x8 or 17x9 wheels?? but when you put a 35 on it, they suggest 35/12.5/17??

I have a new set of wheels, just waiting for me to put new shoes on em.
17x9 with 4-9/16 bs. i looked at 285/70/17 and 33x12.5x17
it seems like the 12.5 are slightly less expensive, but a few tire stores do not suggest that width, and told me it will ride softer more tire roll and wear unevenly??? is this true, should i just get a 285/70/17 for a 9" wheel ??

narrowed it down to - D-C fun country II, or GY -duratrac
i luv the ud tires, but honestly do not offroad in the mud more of a daily driver
