Hi, I had the wheels for a few weeks. Debated on tires for about 6 months. Glad I went with the 285/70/17, looks great. no change in ride, and the Duratracs are pretty quiet, with a small humm!!!
Hi, just curious what you-all think about the RR - rim protectors. I put one on the spare check to see.. should I leave them off? and add them after the wheels take a beating
Your rig looks really nice. Just bought a 2012 and get in two weeks. It is just starting for me and I will start with the lift and have purchased some JW Speaker LED headlights. You seem happy with the AEV.
Roxbury, sweet truck! The RR Satin Black wheels & 33" DuraTracs look awesome. :thumb:
I want to order this same wheel & tire combo for my black 2 door, I think they'll completely transform the Jeep. I believe this is pretty much the largest tire I can safely install without having to worry about rubbing, since I don't have a lift.
However, I can't find 285/70-17 DuraTracs in anything but Outline White Lettering. How did you get that size in blackwall?
Hi, thanks MikeK46.... You should not have a problem locating the 285/70/17 in Duratracs.. DT will likely be one of the lower priced places... ! . so far love the wheels/tires..
I'm in the works of getting 285/65-18 NITTO TRAIL GRAPPLER M/T and Rockstar rims!!!!! For 5 $2261.94...... pics to come soon
