New to Jeepin
Hi,
Couple of questions. I have a 2001 wrangler sport and putting a 4 inch lift on it. My questions are: I have the aluminum rims, will 33 x1250's fit on them and will I need to do any mods so they don't rub.
I don't mud and its more for beach looks. Trying to save some$
And what width are the rims?
Thanks for your help!

Pics would help,
If you have factory jeep wheels they are most likely 15 by 8 the 33 1250 will rub you would need wheel spacers or new wheels with less backspacing
Scroll down to the wheels and see what you have

Which wheels do you have? If they are 8 inch you will be fine. Check spidertrax I think they're inch in a quarter spacers, But for the price of the spacers you can almost get new wheels
Here's the spacers http://www.quadratec.com/products/92807_003.htm
Here's some crager soft 8 wheels http://m.summitracing.com/parts/CRR-3975860P
If you shop around you might be able to find free shipping

Welcome to the forum!
They are Canyons, I think 1.5" spacers as a minimum will be needed if the stock wheels are kept. Most people with tj's have 15x8" wheels with 33x12.50x15 tires and they fit perfect! here's mine

You will need wheel spacers, or aftermarket rims with 3.75" backspacing to not rub.
Most tire guys are going to just read off the instructions from the tire manufacturer when they recommend a wheel size. Which is great for on road. 15x8's will work fine.

Yea, Mine have 3.65" of backspacing. but they stick out alittle more than 3.75" backspacing. so he couldn't do 4" of backspacing with a 4" lift and clear ok?

Will do, hopefully a couple weeks! A guy at work said he'd do the lift kit. You know how that goes, but he's a great mechanic!

Thanks everyone, I love it. The girlfriend not so much, she's short. Any ideas on some inexpensive but good side steps that look good? I'm thinking hoop steps? Ideas?
