New vs Old

So I acquired a set of 5 35s. The guy never rotated the spare in so its brand new. The other 4 are in good shape at like 40-50%. Im thinking about getting another new one and running the new tires on the front just so I have the extra tread depth for when Im in mud and snow.

Heres my problem. The new 35s actually measure 34.5 inches and the used ones measure at 33.5. Is that enough difference to cause problems? Its a trailer queen for the most part...

Thanks in advance!!
