Very new at this. Just purchased a new 2014 jeep Wrangler Sport 2door and I want it start with a new set of rims/tires.
I've seen post after post. Been on tirerack and took a trip to my local Summit racing store and now I'm more confused then ever.
I know asking someone to help pick out rims is like asking a stranger what underwear I should by. but bare with me maybe someone can help.
I'm looking for a rim/tire combo that will give my jeep a stout look, a little tire action sticking out of the fenders but nothing crazy! I also would like to try to do this without doing any type of lift.. I'm not at that point yet and maybe a a couple years that will be something I look at. But first baby steps.
The rims I would like would have to be black. As you can see my jeep is a silver and like to keep the black on silver thing going. Would not mind a little chrome mixed in but nothing that looks to urban. Should I go steel vs alum? I have 17's now and I see people on here jumping down to 15's. What is the pros and cons to dropping down that far. Any help would be greatly appreciate. Cause my heads about to explode trying to figure this whole mess out!!
