nitto mud grapplers vs. bfg km2

I have a 05 wrangler with 37 in supper swampwer on it now that are bald, I need new tires. i am thinking either 5 35x12.5x15 bfg km2's or four nitto mud grapplers 37x13.5x17. I will be getting new rims with the tires as well. I can get the 5 bfg's for about $350 cheaper than the 4 nitto's, I could use one on my tires now for a spare. I have dana 44's with 4.88 gears and a 6 speed so i will be set up for either one. Which would you recomend? Will the nitto's tread ware out way faster than the bfg's. Thanks.

I have both.

KM2 35's on my JK with around 20k miles about 2 years old (guessing as I bought them used), and they are at about 60%. Mostly back and forth to work and weekend warrior wheeling on rocks. They are wearing well I think, and evenly, but there are some areas where the rocks have chewed them up a bit, but not too bad. Other than traction on slick pavement (rain and snow-they aren't siped), and they cake with mud easy, and don't clear all that well; they are a decent tire. Definitely an improvement over the BFG AT's that were on it before for off roading purposes.

I also have a set of Nitto Mud Grappler 37's on the TJ we just got. PO said they were on his JK before that. About 2 years old, unknown milage but still look new and wearing evenly. Don't know about the wet traction yet as we haven't had the jeep that long. That being said, we are taking the TJ out this weekend to the rocks and we will see how they do there. It's also supposed to rain Saturday morning, so I will find out how they do when the road is slick as well. The Nitto is louder on the road.

If it were me, and if money wasn't an issue (yeah, right), I'd get the Nitto's. They seem to me to be more aggressive, and they do have some siping which I think will help with traction on the slick stuff. For tires which are roughly the same age, they appear to be wearing better than the KM2's. Again, I don't know exact milage on either set, so this is mostly conjecture, and speculation based on age.
