Noob needs help confirming wheel/tire size...

I'm planning to buy a 2010 Sahara (when available) and I want to switch out the stock tires for something wider right away. I've been reading this forum and I think I've figured out what will work for me but would appreciate if anyone could confirm I've got the right specs. This will be my only vehicle and I have no immediate plans for any off-roading (if I changed my mind on that it would be limited to light off-roading). I don't want to do a lift and from what I've read as long as I stay under 33" for tires the JK should be fine without a lift.

I'm looking at M/T Classic II wheels, 17X9 with 4.5" backspacing.
BFG A/T Tires, LT305/65R17 (33x12.50R17)

I'm thinking this should have the outside edge of the tires about 3" wider than the stock setup, does that sound right? Will this setup work for me without doing any other mods?

I have seen no info on the 10 Sahara so I can't comment on your plans, but I can Welcome you to the Forum.
