Noob Question...

Tires and wheels 101.....new ground for me....I have always been a stock kinda person on previous vehicles.

There are a lot of threads about lifts, tires and wheels....searching thru them all is a bit daunting.

Has anyone ever created a reference chart for lifting vs. wheel size/tire size and model?

that would be pretty handy to me as a noob to be able to look at a chart that tells me what the max tire size I could go with stock suspension, or 2" lift, etc..

Or perhaps this already exists on a tire or wheel website?

YJ, TJ, JK what you got?

TJ
2" lift 32's
3" 33's d44 or 8.8 in rear
4.5+ 35's " " " "
6" plus 2" body is 37's d44 front/rear 8.8 or go to 1 ton axles out of a fullsize truck

Unless your willing to get rid of some sheet-metal this is a good rule of thumb.

Unless your willing
