Paint vs. Powdercoat

I recently fell into a killer deal on some wheels. The only problem is, they are silver and I want black. My Jeep is a daily driver so the wheels will see the highway and the trail. I know it is easier to touch up paint than it is powder but I hear powder is tougher overall. Anyways, would love to hear thoughts on which one would be the better choice.

Powdercoats the best, but your cost is gonna go way up !!

You can paintem with the tires on, but not powdercoatem !

I knew powdercoat would cost more. What have some of you paid? And yes, I realize it will be dependent upon area, exact finish, color, so on and so forth, just trying to get a ballpark.
